The Great Octave Foundation is proud to announce an exciting new joint venture project with Services for the Underserved.
Services for the Underserved (SUS) is an extraordinary not-for-profit organization with a staff of over 1,000, serving nearly 7,000 of New York City’s most vulnerable individuals and their families.
Shulamit Elson, director of the Great Octave Foundation will teach MediSounds ® is now in the process of teaching the meditation to the staff of SUS, in turn will teach the process to the thousands of New Yorkers that SUS serves.
The community that SUS works with consists of individuals that are in a daily struggle to get “back on their feet.” Significant numbers are homeless veterans suffering from post-traumatic stress (PTS), while others suffer from developmental disabilities, trauma, ill health, and addiction. SUS provides them with a place to live as well as support services, thereby assisting their transition to a more independent life.
For this project to fully succeed, we need your help. We need participation from people like yourself, at no matter what donation amount you can offer.
